Scuba Diving Trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia

Fabian recently joined Borneo Dream for a scuba diving trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP) during his trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Mann, his friend also joined him on our boat for some snorkeling. Read his feedback below – tempted to come diving with us, then just contact the Dream Team :-)

“I just wanna say thanks to the excellent Dream Team on my trip last Saturday. Everybody was warm, welcoming and extra helpful in everything. I have this believe that in every dive, in every outing or a trip – there are bound to be new things to discover and learn. This one excursion had been memorable.

Richard was a fabulous Divemaster – I was actually very blessed and thankful to be paired with him. Richard helped and guided me in almost all aspects – from telling me that I had my wetsuit being worn in reverse, searching for things to see underwater and of course – tending to my crazy antics underwater. The check out dive was quick – I surprised myself that after a few minutes I was off checking the waters near the Sapi House reef, so thank you for the confidence. Richard was with me and never far off even when I wandered out of sight, busy with the camera, snapping away at everything. Nice job.

Snorkeling at Sapi

I have to praise Borneo Dream for the emphasis on safety as well. Buddy checks – weights, air and releases had been shown and prioritised. Safety stops had been well adhered too. Richard had been kind enough to consider the use of my computer as well as his.

Oh, Mann asked to say thanks as well!!! It was fun for him to be left on an isolated island, snorkeling at depths and still had fun!!! Maybe one day he will consider to be a diver as well!!!!

Diving is a deep passion of mine, not just a mere hobby. I had searched the web for the operators in Kota Kinabalu before deciding on Borneo Dream. I had even ignored the advice/recommendation of a fellow friend – just so that I can judge on my own. Who knows, I might be considering to further my dive education with you guys :-) .

Thanks again, Fabian & Mann”
