Rebreathers need YOU!!

Scuba Diving on Rebreathers, CCR, Closed Circuit Rebreather, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia

Borneo Dream is the only Rebreather friendly Dive Operator in Sabah, Borneo. This means we are the only TDI Dive Operator offering a range of TDI CCR Rebreather courses and also able to support Rebreather leisure divers on our range of scuba diving day trips.

Diving on a Rebreather

Over the past few weeks we have had a couple of Rebreather, CCR, leisure divers diving with us. Chris Loh and Chris Leonard both learned to dive on rebreathers (APD Inspiration) with Borneo Dream in the past year. They enjoyed it so much that they came back to enjoy diving on a rebreather again with us from KK, Sabah.

They joined our diving trips to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and got to dive several of the > 20 dive sites we go to in TARP. The boys dived together and often had Billy, our TDI Instructor, guiding them on his Rebreather.

Rebreather Diver

As CCR’s (Closed Circuit Rebreathers) do not produce any bubbles you are silent when diving. This means you do not scare away marine life and often to get see things other open circuits divers miss – like 6ft White Tip and Black Tip Reef Sharks in our local Marine Park. Cool!
