“We recently returned from a scuba diving holiday with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu. This was our first time in Sabah, Borneo and we really loved it!

Scuba Diving from Kota Kinabalu

Borneo Dream are an excellent company to do your scuba diving with in Sabah. They have put a lot of work into finding good, safe dive sites for their customers. They have a really stable, comfortable boat which has plenty of room and Billy and Jo are first class skippers.

Their boat was by far the best of any of the charter boats that we saw while we were there. All the kit is in excellent order and they attach the highest priority to dive safety and ensuring that their customers enjoy fantastic diving in Sabah, Borneo.

Wreck Diving!

The owners of the company are also your dive crew and they will do everything they can to ensure you have a great time, whether under the water or seeing some of the other sights that Sabah, Borneo has to offer. They arranged for us to go and see the Orangutans at Rasa Ria, go white water rafting on the Padas River and to take a scuba diving trip to Sipadan. We had 5 days of outstanding diving at Sipadan, Sabah and for convenience it is well worth staying on the rig.

We took up their offer to use Paul Russell for a days transport when we went to Rasa Ria, and this was well worth the money. He collected us early from the hotel so we could take a bush walk and see the Orangutans at Rasa Ria. He also took us on a drive up Mount Kinabalu, to as far as you were able to drive and we got to see a lot of the area while we were with him.

I can recommend the Jesselton Hotel as a base to stay at as it is very comfortable, the staff are very helpful and it is quick and easy to walk to anywhere within the town from there. But, a taxi is very cheap anyway.

I would definitely highly recommend the whole Borneo Dream Experience!!”
