Congratulations to Paul Rendell on completing his PADI Rescue Diver course and becoming a certified PADI Rescue Diver!

Paul completed his PADI Rescue Diver course with Borneo Dream during his holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. He is interested in becoming a Diving Professional, as well as a qualified Skipper, and become a Rescue Diver was a logical next step for Paul.

Completing Rescue Scenarios in Tropical Settings

Paul had the kind assistance of some of the Borneo Dream staff during his PADI Rescue Diver course rescue scenarios Joanne was a very convincing panicked diver on the surface, whilst Tracy pretended to be an unconscious diver on the sea bed so convincingly that the local marine life didn’t notice she was there – she a shoal of Squid, a Flounder and Blue Spotted Rays come very close to her for a look. They should both be actresses . . . .

Paul enjoyed learning new scuba diving skills so much that he has now decided to become a certified PADI Nitrox diver and has also completed his PADI Enriched Air Diver course with Borneo Dream to. He is now certified to dive nitrox up to EANx40.
