Learning to Dive with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Congratulation to Macy, Pam Pam, Xiang Wei, Nick and Amanda who have all just completed their PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu!

PADI Open Water Diver Course

They learned to dive in the tropical waters of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). They dived several of the dive sites in TARP including Sapi House Reef, Manukan West Reef, Edgell Patches and Mamutik West Reef.

They saw Turtles, Cuttle Fish, Blue Spotted Rays and lots of fish life during the course. The visibility was very good at around 20m on some dives, the sun shined and the wind was calm – fantastic weather for learning to dive.

We even had time for them to have a go on our 3 seater canoe and go snorkeling during surface intervals – a real action packed 3 days . Enjoy some photos from their PADI Open Water Diver course.

We had two PADI Instructors on the PADI Open Water Diving course, Silvia & Ron – one teaching three of the students in Mandarin, one teaching two of the students in English. This made it easier for the students to learn during the course.

We run PADI Open Water Diver courses on a regular basis and have PADI Instructors who can teach in English, French, German, Mandarin and Berhasa Malay. So if you fancy learning to dive next time you visit Kota Kinabalu, Sabah – just contact the Borneo Dream team.
