Congratulations to Lucy who has just completed a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!

Various friends had previously tried to tempt Lucy to have a try dive, a go at scuba diving so she could dive with them. She finally decided to see what it was all about!

Lucy first of all came on a snorkeling trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP) with Borneo Dream – so she could chat with us about what was involved in completing a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course.

She really enjoyed snorkeling near Pulau Sapi, where the Damsel Fish and Wrasse are very friendly, and this helped her to feel more comfortable with having a try dive.

Cuttle Fish

Lucy completed a confined water session and two dives as part of her PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. She started the day feeling a little nervous . . . By the end of the day she was loving diving so much she decided she would continue and become a PADI Scuba Diver with Borneo Dream whilst she is on holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Seeing lots of beautiful marine life, such as large Cuttle Fish and Nemos, helped her to enjoy becoming a diver .
