PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Esther Michael and husband Bladel decided the perfect way to relax after their wedding ceremonies in Sarawak and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah was to go on a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream.

They wanted to have a family day out and were joined by six other family members. Five of them wanted to have a try dive, so took part in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience.

Esther and Bladel had completed their PADI Open Water Diver course several years a go but had not dived since. They decided to join her Father and brothers and complete a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course as a refresher.

They completed their confined water skills session in the shallow bay at Pulau Sapi, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. They then enjoyed two dives – one along the house reef at Pulau Sapi, one along the North West reef at Pulau Mamutik.

Three of Esther’s family enjoyed a snorkeling trip. The whole family spent time together on our spacious catamaran, Borneo Dream 3, and on Pulau Sapi where we took them for their lunch.

All of them thoroughly enjoyed their day out with Borneo Dream – a few of the threatened to come back and learn to dive with us during their next trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

They also really appreciated the surprise cake we presented to them – it didn’t last long! We look forward to seeing you again.
