PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience & Leisure Diving in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
A group of 20+ Scouts from England recently came on holiday to Sabah, Borneo. During their three week visit they got involved in several local community projects. At the end of their holiday they decided to treat themselves to a day out. They decided to go with Borneo Dream to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and took part in a either PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience, try dive, or enjoyed some snorkeling along pretty shallow coral reefs fringing Pulau Mamutik, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Try Dive in KK, Sabah
Billy, Borneo Dreams lead PADI Instructor, along with our other PADI Instructors helped 16 Scouts enjoy a try dive via the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. Most of them had never tried scuba diving before and were amazed by the whole experience.
They started their confined water session in a sheltered, shallow bay at Pulau Mamutik in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. They then enjoyed a leisure dive along the shallow house reef and where amazed by the corals and pretty fish life – including seeing Nemo!
PADI DSD - Try Diving

Several of the Scouts enjoyed their scuba diving experience so much that they are now interested in completing the PADI Open Water Diver course and becoming certified divers – go for it guys!
