Rebreather Diving with Borneo Dream
Scuba Diving on Rebreathers in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, Kota Kinabalu with Borneo Dream – Customer Feedback
“Thank you Borneo Dream for an enjoyable weekend of diving in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Nice boat, nice people, nice dive guiding . . . . .

Rebreathers - perfect for wreck diving
Your approach to diver safety was very good. The staff at Borneo Dream were very good too. I also thought the service, quality and overall experience was good.
It would be nice to be able to get my dive gear to you beforehand (my rebreather was a bit heavy to take to Jesselton Point jetty to meet your boat). We can arrange that for next time.
See you for more diving next time I visit Kota Kinabalu.”
Thomas,
Brunei
Thomas enjoyed scuba diving trips to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, near Kota Kinabalu, with Borneo Dream to practice diving on his new Rebreather. If you fancy scuba diving on rebreathers during your trip, holiday to KK, Sabah, Malaysia then please contact the Borneo Dream team.

Chris Diving on the Drager Dolphin
PADI Semi Closed Rebreather (SCR) Course, Drager Dolphin, Rebreather Training, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Congratulations to Chris Loh who became a certified PADI Semi Closed Rebreather diver with Borneo Dream this week using a Drager Dolphin! The course involved three course dives over two days in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, TARP, Sabah, Borneo. Chris also enjoyed a fourth leisure dive on the Drager Dolphin following the course.

The Drager Dolphin
The Drager Dolphin unit uses a 5 litre cylinder in standard configuration filled with Nitrox / enriched air of mixtures from 32% – 60% (depending up on the dive profile). Chris achieved two 70 minute dives and used 140 bar out of his 5 litre cylinder. Using an integrated Delta-P VR3 with an external oxygen cell it was determined that Chris had a metabolic rate of 0.7 litres per minute. The unit weighs the same as a standard 80 cuft. scuba diving cylinder.
Borneo Dream are the only authorised PADI dive operator in Sabah, Borneo who can offer the PADI Semi Closed Rebreather speciality. If you would like to know more about this course, then contact us.
Enjoy photos of Chris during his course and his first certified dive on the Drager Dolphin. Welcome to the world of diving on rebreathers Chris
