Our Dive Courses Schedule:
- PADI Open Water Diver course (instruction in English) = 2nd – 3rd, 3rd – 5th, 5th – 7th, 7th – 9th, 12th – 14th, 16th – 18th, 23rd – 25th, 27th – 29th August
- PADI Open Water Diver course (instruction in Mandarin) = 25th – 27th, 27th – 29th, 30th August – 1st September
- PADI Open Water Referral Course = 9th – 10th August
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course = 3rd – 4th, 28th – 29th August
- PADI Rescue Diver Course = 4th – 5th August
- PADI Semi-Closed Rebreather Speciality Course = 20th – 21st August
- PADI Divemaster internships running through August (for a 6 – 8 week programme)
- SDI Open Water Scuba Dive Course = 13th – 15th August
- IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Course = 5th – 8th August
All diving courses are run in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park just in front of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The PADI Semi Closed Rebreather (SCR) Diver Course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is a two (2) day course that allows recreational divers to learn to dive on a rebreather.
Rebreather Training with Borneo Dream
Diving on a semi-closed rebreather helps you to enjoy much longer bottom times for your recreational dives (SCR divers typically enjoy dives up to 2 hours). As there are little / no bubbles you can also can get much closer to marine life without disturbing it – making it great for divers in to underwater photography or videography. Learn to dive on a Rebreather with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia
Are you currently a certified diver? Interested in learning a new scuba diving skill? Then why not learn to dive on a Semi Closed Rebreather. The PADI Semi Closed Rebreather speciality course is a 2 day course and at only RM745 per Diver (plus Sabah Parks permit) it’s a cheap way to try diving on a rebreather.
Borneo Dream is the only provider of Rebreather Training within Sabah, Borneo (based in Kota Kinabalu). Learn to dive on a rebreather and start diving with no (or little) bubbles, nice warm breathing air, very long bottom times for your dives and getting closer to marine life – ideal for underwater photography and videography!
A Semi Closed Rebreather
The PADI Semi Closed Rebreather (SCR) Diver Course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia allows you to move into the realm of technical diving without the costly investment in the equipment as the rental of the Drager Dolphin re-breather is included in the course. This unit uses a constant mass flow mix of pre-mixed Nitrox (EAN) 32 to 60 and is rated to a depth of 40m.

Borneo Dream offers the best range of technical diving courses in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. We are the only Dive Operator in Sabah to offer TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) courses.
Rebreathers – It is the only way to dive, no bubbles, nice warm breathing air, extended to very long bottom times and those fish just stay put – great for photographers and videographers.
Our next TDI courses are being held in January 2009 in Kota Kinabalu. We will be running a TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course (unit specific – APD Inspiration / Evolution) from 2nd – 6th January 2010. This is the entry certification course for divers wishing to utilize Ambient Pressure Diving’s Inspiration / Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air leisure diving. Rebreather Diver
Our next TDI Rebreather courses are being held in December 2009 and January 2010 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The December TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course with Decompression Procedures is already fully booked.
We will be running a TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course (unit specific – APD Inspiration / Evolution) from 10th – 14th January 2010. This is the entry certification course for divers wishing to utilize Ambient Pressure Diving’s Inspiration / Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air leisure diving.
