PADI Divemaster Interships
Congratulations to Kenny Valance on becoming a PADI Divemaster!
Kenny completed a PADI Divemaster Internship with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah over a 3.5 month period. During this time he had lots of experience supporting PADI courses and guiding divers with support and feedback from our team of PADI Professionals.
Kenny found some of the exams and swim test hard – but after hard work, coaching from the Team and lots of encouragement he got there 
.
Kenny is now a fully fledged Dream Boy and is ready for starting his career as a PADI Professional. Good luck Kenny!

We have had a busy August and start to September with lots of PADI courses and leisure diving trips. We have run many PADI Open Water Diver Courses in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park – in English and Mandarin.

Scuba Diving with Borneo Dream
PADI Divemaster Internship with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Congratulations to Mike Chapman who has just completed his PADI Divemaster Internship with Borneo Dream. Mike is now a certified PADI Divemaster, a Dive Professional and a Dream Boy!!
Mike is from Australia and had dived with Borneo Dream during his previous two holidays to Sabah, Borneo. He was keen to develop his scuba diving skills further so decided he would complete a PADI Divemaster Internship. Originally he was going to complete his DM course in Australia. Following his experiences of diving from Kota Kinabalu he decided this was the right location for him to become a PADI Divemaster and the Borneo Dream Team where the best team for him to complete it with. I also think he liked the idea of becoming a Dream Boy

Scuba diving at Mantanani
PADI Open Water Courses & Scuba Diving at Mantanani, Sabah, Borneo
The full Borneo Dream Team is now back in Kota Kinabalu after running PADI Open Water Courses at Camp Mantanani on Pulau Mantanani. Pulau Mantanani is a group of three isolated islands North West of Kota Belud, Sabah, Borneo (and 45nm north of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah). The shallow coral reefs surrounding the islands have plenty to offer, for both novice and experienced scuba divers. The visibility can be as high as 30m.
PADI OW Divers
Several British school groups stayed at Camp Mantanani between 18th July – 7th August. As well as getting involved in community activities and marine conservation efforts, the groups would also learn to dive via the PADI Open Water Diver course (run by Borneo Dream).
All in all a busy 15 days for the Dream Team at Camp Mantanani – 998,000 litres of air were used, 420 boat dives, 70 new PADI Open Water Divers, 4 new PADI Advanced Open Water Divers and 1 new Rescue Diver. Phew! Read the rest of this entry »

- PADI Open Water Diver course (instruction in English) = 2nd – 3rd, 3rd – 5th, 5th – 7th, 7th – 9th, 12th – 14th, 16th – 18th, 23rd – 25th, 27th – 29th August
- PADI Open Water Diver course (instruction in Mandarin) = 25th – 27th, 27th – 29th, 30th August – 1st September
- PADI Open Water Referral Course = 9th – 10th August
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course = 3rd – 4th, 28th – 29th August
- PADI Rescue Diver Course = 4th – 5th August
- PADI Semi-Closed Rebreather Speciality Course = 20th – 21st August
- PADI Divemaster internships running through August (for a 6 – 8 week programme)
- SDI Open Water Scuba Dive Course = 13th – 15th August
- IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Course = 5th – 8th August
All diving courses are run in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park just in front of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
