PADI Open Water Course - Float Test!
PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Congratulations to Rens, Annabelle and Julie Barons on completing their PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream during their New Year holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Welcome to the World of scuba diving!
Enjoying surface intervals
They decided they wanted to learn to dive in the tropical waters near Kota Kinabalu. All of the confined water sessions and open water dives were completed in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, near Kota Kinabalu. They enjoyed diving on coral reefs near Pulau Sapi, Manukan, Sulug and Mamutik.
During surface intervals they enjoyed sun bathing on the sun deck at the front of our catamaran, Borneo Dream 3, making the most of the hot, sunny weather before going back to a British winter. Read the rest of this entry »

Learning to Dive!
Learning to Dive with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Congratulation to Macy, Pam Pam, Xiang Wei, Nick and Amanda who have all just completed their PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu!
PADI Open Water Diver Course
They learned to dive in the tropical waters of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). They dived several of the dive sites in TARP including Sapi House Reef, Manukan West Reef, Edgell Patches and Mamutik West Reef.
They saw Turtles, Cuttle Fish, Blue Spotted Rays and lots of fish life during the course. The visibility was very good at around 20m on some dives, the sun shined and the wind was calm - fantastic weather for learning to dive.
We even had time for them to have a go on our 3 seater canoe and go snorkeling during surface intervals - a real action packed 3 days ;-). Enjoy some photos from their PADI Open Water Diver course. Read the rest of this entry »

Have fun learning to dive in KK
Learning to Dive with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Congratulations to Damien, Pam and Seth on becoming certified PADI Open Water Divers! Welcome to the wonderful world of scuba diving :-).
Completing Confined Water Sessions
Damien, Pam and Seth are currently on holiday in Sabah visiting a friend who lives in Kota Kinabalu. They wanted to learn to dive during their holiday and decided to take their PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream after we were recommended by their friend.
They completed their PADI OW course last week after enjoying three days of sunshine and scuba diving in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). Damien had done lots of try dives before so found it pretty easy learning to dive. Pam and Seth also found very quickly on the first day that they really enjoyed the experience of being underwater and seeing lots of fish up close. Read the rest of this entry »

Congratulations to Ernest Chu who has just completed his PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Welcome to the wonderful World of scuba diving!
Ernest & his PADI Instructor
Ernest was really keen to learn to dive and decided to come to Kota Kinabalu to complete his PADI Open Water course. After searching via Google, Ernest found Borneo Dream and quickly found we were a natural choice for him for learning to dive.
Ernest was a natural underwater and completed his course in two days - I’m sure a small part was down to great instruction from his PADI Instructor, Ron ;-).
We hope to see Ernest scuba diving with us again during his next trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia.
