PADI Courses with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Allan Wu and his family recently decided to join Borneo Dream for some scuba diving and PADI courses during their New Year trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Try Dive in KK
His Sister and Brother-in-law wanted to learn to dive and completed the PADI Open Water course and PADI Advanced Open Water course over a five day period.
For their PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course they decided to complete the following PADI speciality dives – Digital Photographer, Discover Nitrox and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
Colourful Corals
Allan joined us for a scuba diving day trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). We dived Edgell Patch and spotted a juvenile Nurse Shark, Barracuda, Nudibranches, Puffer Fish, Lion Fish and a massive shoal of Yellow Snapper that circled us for 5 – 10 minutes at the end of our dive. “We all thought that Borneo Dream did a brilliant day’s scuba diving for the family in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Diving Coral Reefs in TARP
Adam, our 12 year old, thought his PADI dive instructor was very kind and I had full confidence in her during his PADI Discover Scuba Diving course – Sylvia’s eyes didn’t leave Adam the whole time they were in the water and she really took great care of him.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Esther Michael and husband Bladel decided the perfect way to relax after their wedding ceremonies in Sarawak and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah was to go on a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream.
Scuba Diving in TARP, KK
They wanted to have a family day out and were joined by six other family members. Five of them wanted to have a try dive, so took part in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience.
Esther and Bladel had completed their PADI Open Water Diver course several years a go but had not dived since. They decided to join her Father and brothers and complete a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course as a refresher.
They completed their confined water skills session in the shallow bay at Pulau Sapi, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. They then enjoyed two dives – one along the house reef at Pulau Sapi, one along the North West reef at Pulau Mamutik.

Try Diving with Borneo Dream
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Congratulations to Lucy who has just completed a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!
ISS Snorkeling Trip, TARP, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo
Various friends had previously tried to tempt Lucy to have a try dive, a go at scuba diving so she could dive with them. She finally decided to see what it was all about!
Lucy first of all came on a snorkeling trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP) with Borneo Dream – so she could chat with us about what was involved in completing a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course.
She really enjoyed snorkeling near Pulau Sapi, where the Damsel Fish and Wrasse are very friendly, and this helped her to feel more comfortable with having a try dive. Read the rest of this entry »

“I had my first go at diving with Borneo Dream. I went on a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience.
- Pretty Coral Reefs
I am not really a strong swimmer and I have never really been in deep water before. Making it down to 6 metres was one great achievement for me!
Thanks to Billy my Instructor. It helped having a good Instructor who could make me laugh and make diving look like it’s a piece of cake. It really was fun.
I’d rate Borneo Dream 10/10 for service, enjoyment, safety, staff, overall quality, value for money and enjoyment. I’d certainly use Borneo Dream again”
