A Great Day Out!
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience & Leisure Diving in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
A group of 20+ Scouts from England recently came on holiday to Sabah, Borneo. During their three week visit they got involved in several local community projects. At the end of their holiday they decided to treat themselves to a day out. They decided to go with Borneo Dream to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and took part in a either PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience, try dive, or enjoyed some snorkeling along pretty shallow coral reefs fringing Pulau Mamutik, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Try Dive in KK, Sabah
Billy, Borneo Dreams lead PADI Instructor, along with our other PADI Instructors helped 16 Scouts enjoy a try dive via the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. Most of them had never tried scuba diving before and were amazed by the whole experience.
They started their confined water session in a sheltered, shallow bay at Pulau Mamutik in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. They then enjoyed a leisure dive along the shallow house reef and where amazed by the corals and pretty fish life – including seeing Nemo! Read the rest of this entry »

“During our family holiday to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah we decided to all have a go at scuba diving – so we booked a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream.
Nemo!
We enjoyed the scuba diving experience very much! Our children were initially slightly hesitant at going diving, but under the supervision of your obviously experienced team, they are now avid fans and are pressuring Cath and I to get them enrolled in a PADI Open Water Diver course this Australian Summer!
The service, quality, safety, value for money, enjoyment and overall diving experience were all very good. There is nothing we would recommend you change.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia – Customer Feedback
“We finally got home from our holiday in Sabah and had time to write something about the trip.
We decided to go scuba diving when we were in Kota Kinabalu. A member of staff at our Resort referred us to Borneo Dream. I was feeling a bit anxious about not scuba diving in 20 years but Joanne, our Dive Guide for the day, immediately set us at ease and made the day very enjoyable for us.

Joanne recommended we go through a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience as we hadn’t dived in so long. We really liked the review of scuba diving fundamentals and the feeling of safety – yet not too over bearing for us.
Everything was very good – the staff, service, safety, value, quality, food & drink and the overall experience with Borneo Dream.
We had a very enjoyable time and Joanne was great with us.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience (DSD) & Snorkeling with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah – Customer Feedback
“I recently had a wedding ceremony in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I wanted to arrange a special day trip for myself, my new husband and my close family straight after my wedding so we could relax and have some fun together.
Great snorkeling!
I decided it would be great if we could go scuba diving and snorkeling together. I found the Borneo Dream website and found it catchy and reassuring – especially when the word ‘safety’ kept on being mentioned.
It was even better when Joanne herself responded to my non-stop emails requiring information and she was being very helpful and patient. Unlike some companies who would have someone who are just ‘being assigned to respond to emails without knowing what they are talking about’. Read the rest of this entry »

PADI Courses with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Allan Wu and his family recently decided to join Borneo Dream for some scuba diving and PADI courses during their New Year trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Try Dive in KK
His Sister and Brother-in-law wanted to learn to dive and completed the PADI Open Water course and PADI Advanced Open Water course over a five day period.
For their PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course they decided to complete the following PADI speciality dives – Digital Photographer, Discover Nitrox and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
Colourful Corals
Allan joined us for a scuba diving day trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). We dived Edgell Patch and spotted a juvenile Nurse Shark, Barracuda, Nudibranches, Puffer Fish, Lion Fish and a massive shoal of Yellow Snapper that circled us for 5 – 10 minutes at the end of our dive.
