PADI Courses in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Borneo Dream
November so far has been a busy month for the Borneo Dream Team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Alongside our scuba diving trips, try dives and snorkeling we have run a range of PADI courses over the past few weeks. Being busy keeps us out of mischief 
Congratulations to our following customers who completed a PADI course with the Dream Team during November to date:
- On becoming PADI Open Water Divers we welcome Fatima & Taariq, Hoyong & Sunghyun, Eric & Cecile, Hai-Wu, Alice & Claire to the wonderful underwater world.
- Loris, Stephen & Ta-Tung on progressing their diver education and becoming PADI Advanced Open Water Divers.
- Jilline and Ta-Tung on becoming PADI Rescue Divers.
- Aizuddin on becoming a PADI Enriched Air Diver. Nitrox here we come!

Wreck diving with Borneo Dream
How time flies! The Christmas holidays are just around the corner and we are sure everyone is busy with their lists. Boat Transfers on our RIB
ISB Scuba Diving Trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia with Borneo Dream
The International School Brunei ran their third ISB Dive Club Trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah from 13th – 18th October 2010. They joined Borneo Dream for four days of fun filled, enjoyable diving!
Ten students and two Teachers joined the trip. During the four days of diving 7 students became PADI Open Water Divers, 2 students became PADI Advanced Open Water Divers, 2 students became PADI Enriched Air Divers and there was lots of leisure diving. Congratulations guys!!
ISB Dive Club
The weather was very kind to us with blue skies and sunshine most of the time. We took the students diving at the most protected dive sites in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah to show them the nicest diving conditions. They dived sites around North Gaya, Sapi, Manukan and Sulug. During their dives they saw a wide range of marine life including Turtles, juvenile Nurse Sharks, sea snake, Nudibranches, Lion Fish and lots of fish life. Beautiful.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is a great way to further improve your scuba diving skills and to start diving deeper, safely. The PADI Advanced Open Water course qualifies you to dive to a depth of 30m (for those aged 14 years, or less, this is reduced to 21m) compared to the 18m of the PADI Open Water Diver course.
PADI Courses in Sabah
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course consists of five (5) ocean dives of which two (2) of them must be Deep Diving and a Underwater Navigator. The other three (3) dives can be chosen from the wide choice of PADI speciality dives. Borneo Dream offers a wide choice of speciality dives to choose from including Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, Discover Nitrox, Peak Performance Bu0yancy, Fish Identification and more!

Rice Bowl Wreck
Wreck & Reef Scuba Diving Weekend (10th – 11th July) from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo
Already a Diver and looking for a scuba diving adventure? Then join Borneo Dream for our next wreck & reef diving weekend on the 10th – 11th July in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo.
Come diving the amazing Usukan WW2 wrecks and the boulders at Mayne Rock off the West coast of Sabah. We are the only Dive Operator running diving trips to dive sites – so not only will you enjoy great diving but you’ll be the only Divers in the water! Boat transfers will be on our new 9m x 3m RIB. Our RIB cruises at 30 knots meaning it will take only 1 hour to reach the dive sites. And you get a fast, fun ride on a RIB 
Wreck Diving in KK
For our wreck dives we will dive the 150m WW2 Rice Bowl Wreck. You can expect to find schooling Barracuda, large shoals of Yellow Snapper, Bat Fish, Ed the resident adult 1.5m Grouper and a good chance of finding sleeping Nurse Sharks. The wreck lies in 25m – 40m and there can sometimes be strong currents. So we only take divers who are a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water Diver to these wrecks. Read the rest of this entry »
