Diving Coral Reefs in TARP
Adam, our 12 year old, thought his PADI dive instructor was very kind and I had full confidence in her during his PADI Discover Scuba Diving course - Sylvia’s eyes didn’t leave Adam the whole time they were in the water and she really took great care of him.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Esther Michael and husband Bladel decided the perfect way to relax after their wedding ceremonies in Sarawak and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah was to go on a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream.
Scuba Diving in TARP, KK
They wanted to have a family day out and were joined by six other family members. Five of them wanted to have a try dive, so took part in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience.
Esther and Bladel had completed their PADI Open Water Diver course several years a go but had not dived since. They decided to join her Father and brothers and complete a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course as a refresher.
They completed their confined water skills session in the shallow bay at Pulau Sapi, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. They then enjoyed two dives - one along the house reef at Pulau Sapi, one along the North West reef at Pulau Mamutik.

PADI Open Water Course - Float Test!
PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Congratulations to Rens, Annabelle and Julie Barons on completing their PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream during their New Year holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Welcome to the World of scuba diving!
Enjoying surface intervals
They decided they wanted to learn to dive in the tropical waters near Kota Kinabalu. All of the confined water sessions and open water dives were completed in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, near Kota Kinabalu. They enjoyed diving on coral reefs near Pulau Sapi, Manukan, Sulug and Mamutik.
During surface intervals they enjoyed sun bathing on the sun deck at the front of our catamaran, Borneo Dream 3, making the most of the hot, sunny weather before going back to a British winter. Read the rest of this entry »

Scuba Diving Trip to Pulau Tiga with Borneo Dream, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Borneo Dream ran a scuba diving trip to Pulau Tiga, Sabah over the Christmas period. We departed early from Kota Kinabalu at 7:30am for our boat transfer to Pulau Tiga - the sky was clear, the sea was calm and we had a group of eager divers on board all ready to experience the stunning coral reefs at Tiga.
To Pulau Tiga!
On board our catamaran (Borneo Dream 3) we had Florence, Roger, Melissa, David and Amr who were accompanied by their Dive guide Ron and Jo and skipper Billy.
We arrived at our first dive site on the South side of Pulau Tiga, Sabah at 9:30am. By 10am we were all in the water starting our first dive of the day on ‘The Pinnacle’ dive site.
We had a good Westerly current on our first dive with visibility of up to 10m (not the best vis for scuba diving at Pulau Tiga but enough to still enjoy the plentiful marine life). We part drifted, part dived during our first dive to help us cover the North - South lying coral reef. Read the rest of this entry »
