A great day out with Borneo Dream!

Well the festive season is now upon us and, even in the tropical setting of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah the Borneo Dream team is getting excited about Christmas – with a Christmas tree, stockings and Santa hats on our diving boat. Ho ho ho!!

We wanted to take this opportunity to wish visitors to our web site a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!

As a Christmas gift from the Borneo Dream team if you book your 2010 diving trip / diving course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah before the 15th January then you can enjoy a 10% discount (with a deposit to be paid). Just quote “Christmas Gift” when you contact the Borneo Dream team.

We are coming to the end of another year and it’s been a busy, eventful and fun one for the Dream Team:-

•

  We have had boxes and boxes of Tiger Biscuits consumed along with gallons of tea, hot chocolate and fresh water – All complimentary on board our boats.

• We have had divers and non-divers from 56 different countries, from Australia to Zimbabwe, close to 280 dive trips during the year and approximately 11 million litres of compressed air used, that’s a lot of bubbles.
• Lot’s of PADI Courses were completed along with the introduction of our SDI range of courses.
• We also fitted in 9 TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) courses, “No bubbles”, and 4 PADI Semi Closed Rebreather (SCR) courses “Some bubbles”. Plus a few boat handling courses through BSAC and our friends from Brunei.
• We ran 2 International Beach Clean-ups through Project AWARE/PADI and collected a total of 180 kilos of garbage.
• We have been out there visiting our favourite sites such as Pulau Tiga, Mayne Rock and the World War II Wrecks at Pulau Usukan.
• We started in July of ’09 to provide scuba diving courses for customers of Camps International whilst they stayed on Pulau Mantanani – A true tropical island, white sands and palm trees In 2010 we plan to open this up and start providing diving and snorkeling trips to Mantanani for our own Borneo Dream customers.
