The PADI Semi Closed Rebreather (SCR) Diver Course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is a two (2) day course that allows recreational divers to learn to dive on a rebreather.
Rebreather Training with Borneo Dream
Diving on a semi-closed rebreather helps you to enjoy much longer bottom times for your recreational dives (SCR divers typically enjoy dives up to 2 hours). As there are little / no bubbles you can also can get much closer to marine life without disturbing it – making it great for divers in to underwater photography or videography. Start diving on a Rebreather and find your dives transformed

Try Diving!
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience, DSD & Try Dives in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia
Wilfred Tay and his family recently joined Borneo Dream for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience as part of their family holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. They had never dived before and Wilfred fancied treating his family to a special day out.
Their PADI DSD with Borneo Dream included a simple scuba diving education session, a confined water skills session and they enjoyed two (2) leisure dives.
Green Turtle
They went scuba diving in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and enjoyed seeing Nemo, two Turtles, being surrounded by Damsel Fish and Wrasses, Barracuda and lots more!!
At Borneo Dream we focus on safe, high quality and fun diving experiences. As part of this we have small ratios per PADI Instructor (they had three PADI Instructors looking after their family of six), they travelled on our highly equipped spacious catamaran (Borneo Dream 3), used nice functioning dive gear and had lots of fun!! Reef Clean Up with Borneo Dream
Project AWARE Reef Clean Up Event in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Borneo Dream
Make a difference during the Project AWARE International Underwater Clean Up Day Reef Clean Up Event on the 19th September 2010.
Join in this marine conservation effort, hosted by Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. If you’d like to know more, or reserve a place on this trip, then contact the Dream Team. Create a Cleaner Underwater World – Make a Difference Whilst You Dive!
We will be running a diving day trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). Here we will enjoy two dives cleaning up coral reefs in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (to be chosen by Sabah Parks). The price for this diving day trip (2 dives) is RM75 per diver. We expect Sabah Parks to waive the Sabah Parks Diving Permit for participants.

Rice Bowl Wreck
Wreck & Reef Scuba Diving Weekend (10th – 11th July) from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo
Already a Diver and looking for a scuba diving adventure? Then join Borneo Dream for our next wreck & reef diving weekend on the 10th – 11th July in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo.
Come diving the amazing Usukan WW2 wrecks and the boulders at Mayne Rock off the West coast of Sabah. We are the only Dive Operator running diving trips to dive sites – so not only will you enjoy great diving but you’ll be the only Divers in the water! Boat transfers will be on our new 9m x 3m RIB. Our RIB cruises at 30 knots meaning it will take only 1 hour to reach the dive sites. And you get a fast, fun ride on a RIB
Wreck Diving in KK
For our wreck dives we will dive the 150m WW2 Rice Bowl Wreck. You can expect to find schooling Barracuda, large shoals of Yellow Snapper, Bat Fish, Ed the resident adult 1.5m Grouper and a good chance of finding sleeping Nurse Sharks. The wreck lies in 25m – 40m and there can sometimes be strong currents. So we only take divers who are a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water Diver to these wrecks. Read the rest of this entry »

Night Diving
Scuba Diving in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah – Night Diving Extravaganza with Borneo Dream!!
Night diving is an altogether different, and exhilarating, scuba diving experience! Experience scuba diving along a coral reef in the pitch black with just your torch light to help you guide your way and see what is around you. You’ll see completely different marine life at night – Lobsters, Crabs, Shrimps, Moray Eels, Lion Fish and more – while the fish life hides amongst the coral reef for protection.
