PADI Scuba Diving Courses from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah – in English, Mandarin & Berhasa Malay
Borneo Dream provides the widest range of diving trips and dive courses – PADI, SDI, TDI, IANTD, BSAC – along the west coast of Sabah, all departing from Kota Kinabalu.
For our range of PADI Courses we have PADI Instructors who can speak fluent English, Mandarin and Berhasa Malay. Course instruction can be provided in a choice of these languages for our more popular PADI courses – the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience, PADI Open Water Diver course and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
For our range of scuba diving trips we can also provide dive briefings in a choice of these languages too – English, Mandarin, Berhasa Malay. This helps us to provide our diving customers with a personalised dive experience and helps them to fully understand the dive sites they will be diving at and the dive procedures we will follow. Scuba Diving at Pulau Tiga
Scuba Diving Destination Review – Pulau Tiga, Sabah
When Divers come to Kota Kinabalu they generally will only be aware of diving trips to the nearby Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. However, via a 60 minute fast boat transfer, you can be diving the beautiful coral reefs near Pulau Tiga. Read on to find out more about scuba diving at Pulau Tiga, Sabah.

Pulau Tiga is a group of small uninhabited Malaysian islands in Kimanis Bay off the western coast of Sabah. Pulau Tiga is located approx. 30nm southwest of Kota Kinabalu. The islands were formed in 1897 when an earthquake on Mindanao caused a volcanic eruption near Borneo. Pulau Tiga became well known through the Survivor television series. It was the setting of the first American season of the show.
Pulau Tiga is also located in a Marine Park – Pulau Tiga National Park. The Marine Park was established by Malaysia in 1985 to protect the island of Pulau Tiga and its adjacent coral reef-filled sea plus two adjacent islands (Pulau Kalampunian Besar and Pulau Kalampunian Damit – also known as Snakes’ Island). Vincent Kirk 又出現囉! 如果您之前有讀過我們的中文文章的話, 應該不會對來自上海的Vincent 及 Kirk 感到陌生– 沒錯 他們就是一月份出現在此的開放水域潛水員新學員! 因為愛上潛水及沙巴, 還有基於對Borneo Dream課程素質的信任, 四月份他們又回到亞庇, 跟Borneo Dream上Advanced Open Water Diver 進階潛水員的課. 不僅如此, 這回他們還多帶了兩名朋友來找我們上潛水課呢!
從來沒接觸過水肺潛水的Kitty, 在中國國內就習慣以游泳來鍛鍊身體. 學潛水對喜
歡水的她來說, 是再自然也不過的事了. 除了非常勇敢地面對所有技巧動作的要求, 苦練浮力控制外, Kitty也非常認真的在三天的課程空檔中完成所有知識學習及測驗, 順利取得Open Water Diver開放水域潛水員證書. 這是多麼令人高興的一件事!
另一方面在Kitty上開放水域潛水員課的同時, Vincent及Kirk 還有同是Open
Water Diver的文娟, 也充分利用時間, 在教練的建議下, 在第一天做了潛水複習, 重新熟悉基本技巧之後, 在第二第三天, 完成了進階開放水域潛水員的課程.
第四天的時候, 大家離開熟悉的上課地點TARP東姑阿布都拉曼海洋公園, 前往Mayne Rock 麥恩岩. 雖然遇到不小的洋流, 但是所有人充分展現認真潛水訓練的成果, 享受了不同於前幾日的海底風光~
Vincent 說, 他們已經決定在上海成立一個推廣潛水活動的俱樂部. 這對工作忙碌的 Vincent 及 Kirk 而言, 並沒有任何商業利益, 純粹是希望能讓多一點的朋友們能有機會接觸美麗的海底世界.
Kitty 也表示, 要找機會再來沙巴上進階潛水的課. 如果您是在中國的朋友, 歡迎加入V&K潛水俱樂部 一起來玩喔! 在有廉價航空公司的現在, 來美麗的沙巴用中文上潛水課, 是再方便又愉快也不過的事了!
