“I just wanna say thanks to the excellent Dream Team on my trip last Saturday. Everybody was warm, welcoming and extra helpful in everything. I have this believe that in every dive, in every outing or a trip – there are bound to be new things to discover and learn. This one excursion had been memorable.

Richard was a fabulous Divemaster – I was actually very blessed and thankful to be paired with him. Richard helped and guided me in almost all aspects – from telling me that I had my wetsuit being worn in reverse, searching for things to see underwater and of course – tending to my crazy antics underwater. The check out dive was quick – I surprised myself that after a few minutes I was off checking the waters near the Sapi House reef, so thank you for the confidence. Richard was with me and never far off even when I wandered out of sight, busy with the camera, snapping away at everything. Nice job. Read the rest of this entry »

Scuba Diving Trips And Dive Courses – What’s Happening with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah . . . .

Well we’ve got a busy couple of weeks ahead of us with Chinese New Year celebrations just around the corner. We are running a range of trips and courses from snorkeling, learning to dive with the PADI Open Water Diver course, leisure diving to wreck diving later this month.

Sand, Sea, Blue Sky

Sand, Sea, Blue Sky

The weather is beautiful at the moment – blue skies, sunshine, gentle breezes and a steady 32C air temperature. Tropical bliss! It makes surface intervals on Borneo Dream3, our catamaran, very pleasant and the sun deck on the boat is very popular :-) The sea temperature is a slightly cooler 27 – 28C due to the North East trade winds bringing with them cooler currents.

The plankton blooms started last week – as part of the whale shark migration down the South China Sea – so visibility has been impacted on some of our dive sites we go to. Fortunately we go to > 20 dive sites in our local Marine Park, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, and have been working extra hard to take our customers to the nicest dive spots on the day. Sulug Reefs & Edgell Patches have been very nice. Read the rest of this entry »
