Borneo Dream offers the widest range of scuba diving day trips along the west coast of Sabah, all departing from Kota Kinabalu. One of most popular trips is our day diving trip to the nearby Marine Park, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP).
Diving in KK!
We visit > 20 different dive sites in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park as well as dive sites at Edgell Patches – two stunning deeper coral reefs found just outside the Marine Park.
Our customers are normally pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coral reefs and the variety of marine life. At the right time of year we also experience visibility up to 25m – 30m on the reefs on the westward facing side of Pulau Gaya, Sapi, Manuka and Sulug.

Dive for Earth Volunteers!
Project AWARE Dive for Earth Day, Coral Reef Clean Up Event with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo
Project AWARE Dive for Earth Day (on 22nd April 2010) is an annual event aimed at raising awareness of the importance of conserving our underwater world and encouraging marine conservation activity.
In support of Dive for Earth Day, Borneo Dream will be hosting a coral reef clean up event in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on the 24th April 2010. Here we will enjoy two dives cleaning up coral reefs (to be chosen by Sabah Parks). So why not coming scuba diving with Borneo Dream during your holiday in Kota Kinabalu in April and take part in marine conservation at the same time? Learn to Dive in Kota Kinabalu
PADI Open Water Diver Course, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia
Congratulations to Henry, Wei Wei, Laura, Tess, Jilline, Phyllis and David who have all recently completed the PADI Open Water Diver course in the tropical waters of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Borneo Dream.
The PADI Open Water Diver course is an ideal way to learn to dive. And what better way to do it than in waters that are 30C with a team that focuses on delivering high quality, safe and fun diving experiences!
Lots of Fish!
They all completed the full PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream. This involves a day or pre study and three days out on our catamaran, Borneo Dream 3, diving. All confined water sessions and open water dives are conducted in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP), near Kota Kinabalu. In TARP you will often see a wide variety of marine life and dive along pretty coral reefs during your PADI diving course.

The Islands near Kota Kinabalu have beautiful beaches with shallow waters and are surrounded by colourful coral reefs. Expect to see Nemo, a variety of coral reef fish and a Turtle if you are lucky!
