Diving on a Rebreather
Learning to Dive on Closed Circuit Rebreathers in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Borneo
Borneo Dream is the only Dive Operator in Sabah to offer TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) courses. It is the only way to dive – no bubbles, nice warm breathing air, extended to very long bottom times and those fish just stay put. Great for underwater photographers and videographers.
Rebreather Diver
Our next TDI Rebreather courses are being held in December 2009 and January 2010 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The December TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course with Decompression Procedures is already fully booked.
We will be running a TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course (unit specific – APD Inspiration / Evolution) from 10th – 14th January 2010. This is the entry certification course for divers wishing to utilize Ambient Pressure Diving’s Inspiration / Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air leisure diving. Scuba Diving in KK
Scuba Diving Trips in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Borneo Dream
Borneo Dream ran a scuba diving day trip yesterday to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and Edgell Patches. Both dive destinations are within easy reach of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah via a 20 – 30 minute boat transfer on Borneo Dream 3.
We went scuba diving at three dive sites – Sapi House Reef, Edgell Patch and Ron’s Reef. We enjoyed stunning visibility at Edgell Patch (20 – 30m) and saw some really nice marine life including a Green Turtle, Blue Spotted Rays, Leopard Moray Eel, a range of Nudibranches, Barracuda, juvenile Bamboo Shark, a 1.5m Black Tip Reef Shark and more.
