My family had an TERRIFIC AND WONDERFUL time at Kota Kinabalu. Dax loved his PADI instructors and he had a great time during his PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream. He cant wait to go back and dive again with you.
Kids Scuba Diving in KK
Maritza enjoyed herself tremendously during her snorkeling trips to Tunku Abdsul Rahman Marine Park. She loved the company of Captain Merali and Tracy. Everyone was just so sweet and patient with them. We had a smashing, splashing good time!!
My kids loved it all. Thank you to Captain Merali, Tracy, Gon and Billy for being kind and patient with the kids. The service was great. The people were great. What more can I really say!~!!! : ) You guys rock!!

Have fun learning to dive with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu

Congratulations to Mellissa, Aidan, Andrew, Meg & Peter who have all recently learnt to dive with Borneo Dream during their holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
Mellissa, Aidan and Andrew chose the PADI Open Water Diver course. Meg & Peter decided to learn to dive via the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course with eLearning.
Learn to Dive!
The dive courses were run in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Here you will find the safe, protected conditions needed for diving courses. The Marine Park (TARP) is also home to a range of pretty, shallow coral reef dive sites. So you can learn to dive in tropical waters and see a wide variety of marine life.
You can enjoy some photos taken during their PADI / SDI course.
Borneo Dream is the only Dive Operator in KK, Sabah offering both PADI and SDI recreational dive courses – giving you more choice on how you learn to dive. If you would like to learn to dive during your holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah then please contact the Borneo Dream team.

Rebreathers need YOU!!
Scuba Diving on Rebreathers, CCR, Closed Circuit Rebreather, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Borneo Dream is the only Rebreather friendly Dive Operator in Sabah, Borneo. This means we are the only TDI Dive Operator offering a range of TDI CCR Rebreather courses and also able to support Rebreather leisure divers on our range of scuba diving day trips.
Diving on a Rebreather
Over the past few weeks we have had a couple of Rebreather, CCR, leisure divers diving with us. Chris Loh and Chris Leonard both learned to dive on rebreathers (APD Inspiration) with Borneo Dream in the past year. They enjoyed it so much that they came back to enjoy diving on a rebreather again with us from KK, Sabah.
They joined our diving trips to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and got to dive several of the > 20 dive sites we go to in TARP. The boys dived together and often had Billy, our TDI Instructor, guiding them on his Rebreather. Read the rest of this entry »

Diving in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park
Scuba Diving & Snorkeling Trips to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah – Customer Feedback
“Following a friends wedding in Kuala Lumpur, the happy couple were kind enough to accompany a bunch of us to the brides home town of Kota Kinabalu in the Sabah region of Borneo. The unorthodox honeymoon kicked off with an ascent of Mount Kinabalu which followed straight into a more relaxing day in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park to ease the affects of the altitude sickness. The collection of small islands less than 15mins offshore of Kota Kinabalu in the South China Sea provided a superb day out for a gaggle of divers and snorkelers.

The day was arranged with a company called Borneo Dream formed a couple of years past by a small group of British ex pats. Having put through all our sizes and kits requirements in advance, we were met at the quayside in KK and directed to the purpose built catamaran – Borneo Dream 3.
On arrival at one of the smaller islands, we offloaded the snorkelers with their Snorkeling Guide and started a nice gentle dive on Sapi Island House Reef. As expected it was full of life, with near perfect vis despite recent strong weather fronts. After about 50mins we climbed back on board and headed further out to sea to a location on the Edgell Patches – a barrel shaped reef. We followed the shot line down to about 14m and swam with the current before taking a couple of 90 deg turns to swim back toward the shot line. Amazing table corals with a stingray hiding under one. Fired up our SMB’s and returned back on board after another 50 min dive. Read the rest of this entry »
