Barracuda
Scuba Diving Trip to Pulau Tiga, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Borneo Dream ran a scuba diving trip to Pulau Tiga, Sabah over the weekend. We set out early from Kota Kinabalu on Borneo Dream 3 and started our 30nm journey to Pulau Tiga, the sea was calm, the wind was light and the sun was out. A beautiful start to a beautiful day of diving 
.
On board were Heidi, Rune, Paul, Lionel, Jamillie, Lynn, Leslie and the Borneo Dream team. Most of them enjoyed chilling out on the sun deck of Borneo Dream 3 on the relaxing ride down to Tiga, or Survivor Island.
Barrel Sponges
We arrived at Pulau Tiga around 9:30am and headed to our first dive site – the Pinnacle. The dive site is a raised area with depths from 7m – 18m. It is covered in large boulders which are overgrown with a range of hard corals, vibrant soft corals and huge Barrel Sponges.
The fish life was fantastic with large shoals of Fusiliers, Damsel Fish and schooling Barracuda. We also had some friendly Batfish following us and spotted Cuttle Fish, Nudibranches and a Blue Spotted Ray. A great first dive. Read the rest of this entry »

PADI Instructor or PADI Divemaster
We are looking for either a PADI Instructor (OWSI or high) or a PADI Divemaster in active Teaching Status. They must meet the following requirements:-
- PADI Instructor or PADI Divemaster
- Malaysian IC Holder
- Read & write in English
- Good personal skills
- Team Player and willing to be flexible.
Mayne Rock Dive Site
We will ask you to work 5 days a week and will offer you 20 days paid holiday a year. You will be paid monthly with deductions for EFP and SOSCO as per the Malaysian Labour Law requirements. Starting salary of RM 2000 per month but this negociable depending upon your skill level and experience.

Lion Fish
PADI Open Water Diver Course, Learn to Dive, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
“I recently completed my PADI Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream during our holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The service, safety and whole scuba diving experience provided by Borneo Dream was excellent.
I liked that I had individual tuition during my PADI Open Water Diver course and that the skills were done in open water in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, making it real! Gon, my PADI Instructor was really patient and used distraction and humour well!
I did 5 open water dives in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park near Kota Kinabalu and saw turtles on three of them, never thought I would get that lucky. I also saw Cuttlefish changing colour, Lion Fish, Puffer Fish and lots lots more. Read the rest of this entry »

Congratulations to Chris Leonard who has just completed the TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather Course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo Malaysia. Welcome to the Dark Side!
Chris is a commercial diver by trade and already a highly qualified scuba diver (a PADI Staff Instructor and IANTD Instructor). Congratulations to Michael, Chris, Johnathan and Caroline who all completed their PADI Open Water Diver course this week with Borneo Dream during their holiday to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Welcome to the wonderful world of scuba diving!
Learn to Dive in KK
All of the confined water skills sessions for their PADI Open Water Diver course were run in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park in the sheltered, safe waters of Pulau Sapi bay.
They then enjoyed their open water dives along pretty coral reefs in TARP. Caroline was amazed to see two large Hawksbill Turtles on the second day of her course – cool! Read the rest of this entry »
