“I recently completed my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I wanted to thank the Borneo Dream team – Jo, Billy, Bev, and Ron – once more for a great time in Borneo.

The overall PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course experience was great—I felt very safe at all times, and I had a lot of fun hanging out with the staff as well as with the other divers on board.
It was nice that the scuba diving trips weren’t too crowded and that the groups for the PADI course remained small, especially as I was completing my PADI Advanced Open Water certification. I was also a big fan of the hot chocolate service provided by Billy and Ron!

We enjoyed everything single trip you sorted out for us – Kinabatangan River, Mount Kinabalu, Sepilok Orang-utan Sanctuary, driving to Kudat and scuba diving with you guys.
The Seaside Travellers Inn and Kudat Golf & Marina Resort met our needs perfectly.

Congratulation to Marten Svanfeldt who completed his IANTD Advanced Trimix course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia this week!
Marten & His Twinsets
The IANTD Advanced Recreationa Trimix course is an entry level technical diving course providing a fuller understanding of the use of Enriched Air and Trimix, within recreational diving limits.
The course was run over four days and all confined water sessions and dives were conducted in Tunku Abdul Raman Marine Park which has ideal conditions for technical diver training.

Borneo Dream is the only Dive Operator to provide a full range of technical diving courses in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia – including a range of TDI and IANTD courses.

Scuba Diving Trips, Tunku Abdul Rahman Dive Trip, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Borneo Dream has run several scuba diving trips to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP), near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah over the past week. We have had blue skies, flat seas and visibility of around 20m on some dive sites. Great diving conditions 
.

The diving conditions have started to improve significantly around Tunku Abdul Rahman Marne Park. With the trade winds starting to change (from North Easterly’s to South Westerly’s), and the recent plankton blooms and red tide clearing up, several more of our favorite dive sites in TARP are now starting to become ‘diveable’ again.
We dived a range of dive sites over the last week – soft coral garden near Gaya, Edgell Patch, Manukan West reef, Pyramid near Mamutik, Sulug North and East reefs, Sapi House reef and Mamutik West reef. The marine life has bee fantastic. Read the rest of this entry »
