Congratulations to Vineet Sivadasan on completing his PADI Advanced Open Water (AOW) Diver course this week with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia! Vineet loves scuba diving and after completing his PADI Open Water Diver course in England he wanted to further enhance his diving skills by becoming a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver in the tropical waters of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia.

Borneo Dream was the first PADI Dive Operator to commercially offer Nitrox, and other mixed gases, for divers on our scuba diving trips from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borne Malaysia. Scuba Diving, Dive Trip from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo – A Great Day Out!
Well, Borneo Dream has a busy week scuba diving with a dive trip to each of our scuba diving destinations this week from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. We’ve had dive trips to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park Marine Park (TARP), Usukan Wrecks, Mayne Rock and Pulau Tiga.

We’ve had great fun with our scuba diving and snorkeling customers – which is all part of your day trip when diving or snorkeling with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia ;-. Read more about some of our customers from the last week below.
We’ve had Andy & Maggie from England, and Kheng Swee from America, diving with us all week. They were taking photos and video on every dive. They’ve seen some really pretty marine life, with the help of some expert spotting by their dive guides, and have got some great shots. They’ve offered to share their photos with us so they’ll be shown here and in our Picasa album soon. Watch this space!

Shrimp on an Anemone
Pulau Tiga Dive Trip with Borneo Dream, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Borneo Dream ran a scuba diving trip to Pulau Tiga in Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia yesterday. We picked up our customers from Jesselton Point, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 7:30am and set off on our 2 hour boat transfer onboard Borneo Dream 3.
Diving Round Coral Pinnacles
The scuba diving and dive trip conditions were good – sunshine, little wind, good visibility at 15m and surface current but little current once you were on the coral reefs. Perfect for a scuba diving trip to Pulau Tiga, Sabah, Borneo!
We arrived at Pulau Tiga at 9:30am ready for the scuba diving to commence! We went scuba diving at two dive sites – the Pinnacle and Barracuda Point. During both dives the fish life was in abundance and we saw a good variety of marine life – Cuttle Fish, Lobsters, Blue Spotted Rays, Barracuda, Yellow Snapper, Fusiliers, Bat Fish, Glass Fish, tiny cleaner shrimps and lots more.

Diving the Boulders at Mayne Rock

Juvenile Nurse Sharks
Borneo Dream took a dive trip to Mayne Rock, KK, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia yesterday.
After a relaxed two hour transfer on Borneo Dream 3 we arrived at our scuba diving destination. Straight away we knew we were going to enjoy some great scuba diving at Mayne Rock as the visibility was the best we had seen here at around 20 metres. There was a bit of a current so we dropped our shot line in the best position on each dive site to give the most enjoyable scuba diving during this dive trip. Read the rest of this entry »
