Find Nemo on a diving trip

Borneo Dream ran a range of scuba diving day trips last week from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia - diving Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP), Mayne Rock and the Usukan wrecks. We chose the best dive sites for the diving conditions for that day and, as a result, enjoyed some great diving trips.
Lion Fish
We saw Turtles, Cuttle Fish, large shoals of Yellow Snappers, Fusiliers, Bat Fish, Nudibranches and so much more. We also enjoyed a little bit of a work out on the Wrecks and Mayne Rock due to strong currents - with currents you get fantastic marine life so there’s always a bonus 
We are the only Dive Operator in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah who goes to all three of these beautiful dive destinations, making us a good choice if you want some good quality diving during your holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia.

Seahorse!
Seahorse, Scuba Diving Trip, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, TARP, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Borneo Dream ran several diving day trips around TARP Marine Park, Kota Kinabalu last week. One of the dive sites we went to was the Soft Coral Garden off Pulau Gaya.
During this dive Joanne, one of the PADI Divemasters working for Borneo Dream, spotted a Seahorse. It was hiding underneath a small coral pinnacle. Amazing!

Chris Diving on the Drager Dolphin
PADI Semi Closed Rebreather (SCR) Course, Drager Dolphin, Rebreather Training, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Congratulations to Chris Loh who became a certified PADI Semi Closed Rebreather diver with Borneo Dream this week using a Drager Dolphin! The course involved three course dives over two days in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, TARP, Sabah, Borneo. Chris also enjoyed a fourth leisure dive on the Drager Dolphin following the course.
The Drager Dolphin
The Drager Dolphin unit uses a 5 litre cylinder in standard configuration filled with Nitrox / enriched air of mixtures from 32% - 60% (depending up on the dive profile). Chris achieved two 70 minute dives and used 140 bar out of his 5 litre cylinder. Using an integrated Delta-P VR3 with an external oxygen cell it was determined that Chris had a metabolic rate of 0.7 litres per minute. The unit weighs the same as a standard 80 cuft. scuba diving cylinder.

PADI Enriched Air Diver Course, Diving with Nitrox, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
Congratulations to Dan, Richard, Michelle and Ang who all became certified PADI Enriched Air Divers with Borneo Dream this week!! They are now qualified to use Nitrox up to 40% for leisure diving.
Diving with Nitrox allows divers to enjoy extended bottom times when diving within the safe range for the Nitrox mix they are using. So you can explore the beautiful underwater world for longer.

“I had a fantastic time during my holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo.

I would like to say a BIG thank you to Borneo Dream for making my holiday so special. I never expected to dive, but I am so glad I was able to in the end. For me it made my trip even more worth while, the diving was amazing and Jo was a great buddy to dive with.
The snorkeling and diving trips were very well organised and professional. I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Jackie saw two turtles - ace!
I can’t think of anything you could improve - the team was great, the equipment was perfect, the boat was comfortable, the atmosphere on the boat was amazing and the diving was just stunning.
I would rate Borneo Dream 10/10 for everything - service, enjoyment, safety, staff, quality, value and overall experience.
