“I have just got back from a two week holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I booked my whole holiday with Borneo Dream – staying at the Pacific Sutera Resort and ten days diving with them. I had a fantastic time.
Blue Spotted Ray
I went diving at all of the diving destinations they offer – TARP Marine Park, Pulau Tiga, Mayne Rock and the Usukan Bay Wrecks. They go to pristine dive sites, with often no other divers there.
Cuttle Fish
You have an early start for the longer distance dive sites, which Lucy didn’t always like, but you can’t get to the further sites otherwise and they are definitely worth the journey for the wonderful diving once you get there.
Borneo Dream have GREAT People, great equipment, very professional. They also helped Lucy to become a confident diver.
There is also lots to do in Sabah if you don’t want to dive.
I will definitely use Borneo Dream again and will recommend that others use them too.”

“I have recently moved to Kota Kinabalu from Kuala Lumpur and heard about Borneo Dream’s diving services through a friend. I have never dived before and I booked a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience through Borneo Dream along with my wife (already a diver).

Soft Corals & Sponges
New Dive Site, Scuba Diving Day Trip, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Borneo
Borneo Dream is continually on the look out for new, good quality dive sites to take our customers too.
Soft Coral Garden
We have already found many wonderful dive sites at TARP Marine Park, Pulau Tiga, Mayne Rock and Usukan Bay. A couple of weeks ago we found a stunning stretch of soft coral gardens between 7m – 18m along the West coast of Pulau Gaya, TARP Marine Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Today we went back again and took Michael Bech and Alyas Ling there after they had completed their PADI diving courses.
Michael and Billy, a Borneo Dream PADI Instructor, took some photos of the stunning coral gardens. The colours and variety of soft corals and sponges is really beautiful and amazing for TARP Marine Park. We have previously only dived sites with this quality of soft corals at Pulau Tiga and the Usukan Bay Wrecks.

Alyas - The Diver!
PADI Open Water Diver Course, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Borneo
Congratulations to Alyas Ling who has just qualified as a PADI Open Water Diver with Borneo Dream.
Alyas chose to use PADI eLearning to complete his self study and exams before he came on holiday to complete his PADI Open Water Diver course in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
He was a natural underwater and completed all of his confined and open water dives within two days. Ron, his PADI Open Water Instructor, also had Richard Storer join Alyas for the two days as part of his Divemaster Internship with Borneo Dream.

Michael, Night Dive
PADI Advanced Open Water, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo
Congratulations to Michael Bech who has just qualified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver with Borneo Dream.
Vibeke on Borneo Dream 3
Alongside his Deep and Navigation dives, Michael chose to take the PADI Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Underwater Photographer as part of his PADI Advanced course. He enjoyed all his dives, especially the Deep dive. And it helped taking his Underwater Photographer dive after his Peak Performance Buoyancy dives – the focus in his photos speak for themselves.
He also appreciated the instruction from Billy, one of the Borneo Dream PADI Instructors, who made the learning interesting and fun.
His girlfriend Vibeke joined us on the boat and made the most of the sunbathing opportunities on the sun deck on our catamaran.
